Also saw Tree of Life for the second time. Magnificent, crazy film. The leap from metaphysics to the sensual details of an almost Proustian (but totally American) sense of sense memory, from dinosaurs to window curtains. I confess I had problems with the coda of the film, but overall, Malick did a beautiful job. Films like this exceed taste.
